  • Mixed use development allocation secured in new Local Plan 2013
  • Brownfield site comprising former brickworks.
  • Technically challenging site due to historic industrial use, ecology, highways, infrastructure, and leisure requirements.
  • RLPP project managed the initial planning work and has continued to advise the owners in negotiations with developers in taking the site through planning process.
  • Outline planning permission secured April 2015
  • Local Authority: West Lancs

Hough Mill Quarry

  • Secured approval for an extension of time to enable restoration works to be completed (July 2015)
  • Role: Planning consultant and project management
  • Appraised potential after-uses and submitted Local Plan representations to promote them. Local consultation ongoing with a view to securing mixed residential, employment, recreation and community uses.
  • Large former quarry site located within open countryside with significant landscape and ecological issues.
  • Local Authority: Cheshire East

Wincham Urban Village

  • Site has secured a resolution to approve outline planning permission for 950 houses, new village centre, roads and public open space in July 2012
  • Role: Site assembly undertaken on behalf of developers
  • Represented several land owners in initial negotiations and ongoing consultations with developers throughout the planning process over a ten year period
  • Prepared and submitted EIA Screening Opinion submission on behalf of developers
  • Local Authority: Cheshire West and Cheste4r

Winnington Urban Village

  • Outline planning permission was secured in January 2013 for 1200 houses, employment uses and a village centre.
  • Role: Represented a land owner client in initial negotiations and ongoing consultations with developers throughout the planning process over a ten year period
  • Client’s land was purchased by developers April 2013
  • Local Authority: Cheshire West and Chester
